A special edition crafted by hand in our Manchester, Vermont bamboo fly rod shop for 2007 only. In special numbered editions, the Mitey Mite is made to the exact taper specifications of the original, first sold in Orvis catalogs more than thirty years ago. Plus, its hardware is upgraded with a smartly-blued and hand-engraved nickel-silver sliding reel seat band embellishes the Wes Jordan-model rods. Just 5 feet long, this 5-weight weighs in at a mere 2.2 ounces. But, it possesses the same absolutely amazing crisp power as the original. It’s perfect for delicate casts with tiny flies on small streams. Comes in its own special Wes Jordan-style tube with saddle-stitched russet leather and heavy-gauge aluminum protective liner.
